Sahiwal cow is a dairy cow with origin in Sahiwal district of Punjab province in Pakistan. This is a breed of zebu cattle, that produces highest quantity of milk. The other names by which this cow is referred are Multani, Lola, Teli, amongst others. As this milking Sahiwal cow can tolerate high heat, it is highly demanded in many Asian countries. Indian dairies count on this breed of cow for milk production. In comparison to the milk from other cows, the fat content found in the milk of Sahiwal cow is the healthiest. Alpha, Beta and Globin are proteins that can be found in their milk.
